Artist's Comments

This is the one most beautiful object I have ever come upon... Unfortunatley I didn't have much time, and back then I only had my compact camera... I did get a couple of shots though, in the shot where I got the composition right I had lost the focus... The one shown here came out allright.

Nice use of a shallow DOF, really makes that gear(?) pop out from the rest of object in the background. I like the grimy industrial textures too, cool find.

Hej man, thanks for your comment and the :+fav:! Really appreciate it. I wish I had a SLR camera back then to capture this. Again, thanks, take care.

Whatever it is, I like it. Even though I probably wouldn't hang it in my room. ;p

Hey man, glad you like it. I would so hang this in my room if I could get my hands on it again :)

this is just too amazing...how did you find such a thing?...and how did you manage to make it look so beautiful. You should have a print account

you have a really good eye for a picture. I really like the textures and details on it. Did you take it in macro?

Hello again :) I know, I think thismight be the most gorgeous object I have ran into through all my life... unfortunatly I had a limited time span to photograph it, like, 3-4 minutes, and I only had a compact camera with me... I found it in a vandalized church in Kosovo, I should've asked the preists how much they'd sell it for. Unfortunatley it's not too heigh res, only like 1600x1300 pixels, so it dosn't print too well :(

Hello again. Thanks, that's very ecouraging to hear  Unfortunatley when I stumpled upon this object I only had a compact camera with me, so it's shot with a Canon Ixus 430, but this particular shot is in macro mode, so to answer your question; yes. I'm thinking about increasing the color contrasts in this piece, what do you think? The colors now are very subtle. Thanks for your interest. Take Care.

I really agree with you man, I was watching your gallery and saw a lot of marvelous stuff, but this piece pulled me into clickin' on it.

It's so strange lookin'

Good picture, and surely because you said you did not had much time. Great focus, it pulls you right into it!
